16 oz green peas
1 can stewed tomatoes with onions and green peppers
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp dried dill
salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onions and saute until translucent.
2. Pour tomatoes, complete with juice, into a large bowl. Using your hands, crush the tomatoes until there are no large pieces. Pour into the skillet along with green peas, dill, salt and pepper.
3. Cook over low heat until the liquid has evaporated.
4. Yields 5, 2 point servings
